Gunmen kill civilians in armed attack in Basra

Shafaq News / Two civilians were killed in an armed attack in Basra, the southernmost province of Iraq, an official security source said on Saturday.

 Late last night in Al-Hartha district, two people in a car were being followed by unknown persons who opened fire and shot them dead, the source told Shafaq News.

The source added that the incident occurred due to an ancient tribal dispute, noting that the two bodies were transferred to forensic medicine.
