CBI reports nearly $48B in sales over seven months

The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced that its sales of US dollars reached $47.985 billion during the first seven months of 2025.
“The total included $46.374 billion in foreign transfers and $1.611 billion in cash sales,” CBI stated in a report.
The bank also noted a 10.92% increase in foreign transfers compared to the same period last year, when they stood at $41.309 billion.
