Fire destroys eight fabric shops in Iraq’s Mosul

A fire swept through eight fabric stores inside Al-Jawhara building at the Nabi Yunus market in Mosul, the capital of Iraq’s Nineveh province, causing extensive material losses but no casualties, a Civil Defense source told Shafaq News on Thursday.
Four firefighting teams extinguished the blaze and prevented it from spreading to neighboring stores.
