Baghdad court recovers $23M in corruption case

The Rusafa investigation court for integrity and money-laundering cases in Baghdad has recovered 35 billion dinars (about $23 million) linked to financial and administrative corruption, Iraq’s Supreme Judicial Council said on Thursday.
The recovery followed detailed judicial proceedings and investigations by the court, the judge handling the case said, according to the council’s statement.
