Iran announces Corona death toll rise to 17
Shafaq News/ Iran announced on Tuesday, that the number of deaths due to the emergence of the new "Corona" virus has risen to 17 after recording 3 new deaths.
The Iranian "IRNA" agency reported on Tuesday that two people infected with "Corona" virus in the northern city of Sawa died, in addition to another death in Alborz province, west of Tehran.
Abbas Nikruch, president of the University of Medical Sciences in the northern Iranian city of Sawa, said that two cases of corona virus infection died days ago, and that the reason for the delay in announcing this was due to waiting for the results of the corona examination.
He added that the two cases were 82-year-old women, who were suffering from severe pulmonary problems, and one of them was visiting the city of Qom.
The vice-president of the University of Medical Sciences in Al-Barz province, west of Tehran, Hassan Enanlu, told Mehr news agency that one of the three Corona Virus cases had died in the province, calling on residents to avoid going out of houses to limit the spread of the virus.
