Erdogan: A terrorist organization tried to make a passage from the Euphrates River in Syria to the Iraqi border

Shafaq News / The Turkish President , Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that a "terrorist organization" tried to establish a passage from the Euphrates River in Syria to the Iraqi borders in order to break up the countries of the region and control the oil fields.

He added, in a speech today in Ankara, "It is known who wanted to seize these fields, so we agreed with the United States of America to carry out the peace process."
