A new earthquake hits eastern Turkey
Shafaq News / The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority’s (AFAD) Presidency announced on Saturday, that an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale hit Alazig province in eastern Turkey.
A statement of AFAD stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.97 km below the surface of the earth, and its epicenter is the Sverji district in the Turkish state.
On Friday evening, an earthquake struck the eastern regions of Turkey with a magnitude of 6.8, and its epicenter was in Alazig province, according to the Turkish AFAD, it was felt by the residents of several neighboring countries.
