US strikes Yemen: Casualties reported
Shafaq News/ US fighter jets launched a new round of airstrikes on Houthi-held military positions across Yemen, Arab media reported on Sunday.
The latest strikes hit missile platforms and fortifications on Kamaran Island in Hodeidah, as well as positions in Al-Jubah District near Marib. Additional targets included sites in Saada province and multiple areas across the capital, Sanaa.
Explosions were also reported in southern Sanaa as the raids continued.

According to the Houthi-run Health Ministry, a strike in the Furwah neighborhood and a market in Shaoub District killed 12 civilians and injured 30 others. Airstrikes also hit a sanitation project in Asr and facilities in the Attan area of Al-Wahdah District.
Washington has not yet commented on the latest strikes.

The operation is part of a broader military offensive launched on March 15 under US President Donald Trump’s directive, which vowed “total eradication” of Houthi capabilities if the group persisted in threatening Red Sea shipping lanes. Since then, US forces have conducted hundreds of strikes across Houthi-held territory.
On Saturday, US warplanes bombed Yemen’s cities of Sanaa and Hodeidah, targeting key infrastructure amid an intensifying campaign against the Houthis.
The Houthis—officially known as Ansarallah—claim their actions are part of a “solidarity campaign” with Palestinians in Gaza, vowing to continue targeting Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea until the war in Gaza ends.
The US designates the Houthis as a “terrorist” organization, accusing them of destabilizing the region and threatening global maritime trade.
