Shafaq News/ On Wednesday, US airstrikes targeted several Houthi (Ansarallah) locations across Yemen, Al-Masirah reported.

The strikes hit residential areas in Al-Thawra district, Al-Hazm district, and sites near Saada, Sanaa, and Al-Sawadiya. The network reported that seven women and two children were injured in Al-Thawra after a strike hit a residential area and an under-construction event hall, causing fires and damage to nearby homes.

Since Saturday, US forces have intensified air raids on Houthi positions leading to at least 53 deaths and over 100 injuries.

Washington has yet to officially comment on the latest strikes, though reports suggest high-ranking Houthi figures may have been among the casualties.

The strikes come amid heightened tensions following Ansarallah’s recent decision to resume their blockade of Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Bab el-Mandeb Strait “in support for the Gaza Strip and its residents who are under Israeli fire.” They also coincide with a statement from US President Donald Trump on Truth Social, where he claimed the Houthis had suffered "significant damage" and warned that their situation would "deteriorate gradually" until they were "completely eliminated."
