US President Donald Trump said his country could benefit economically from rising oil prices but stressed that preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons remains his overriding priority.
“The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money,” Trump said.
Trump said his main priority as president is preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, describing Iran as an “evil empire,” warning that its nuclear ambitions could threaten the stability of the Middle East and beyond.
