Lebanon Minister of justice resigns after Beirut Blast
Shafaq news/ Lebanese Minister of Justice Marie Claude Najm said in a statement on Monday that she had presented her resignation from the government, citing the catastrophic blast at the port of Beirut.
So far, 10 Members of Parliament, 3 Cabinet members, and one ambassador have already resigned following the blast that left portions of Beirut in rubble.
Some of resigned officials are:
Manal Abdel Samad and Demianos Kattar, Nassif Hitti from the cabinet
Henri Helou, Dima Jamali, Sami Jmayel, Nadim Jmayel, Elias Hankash, Paula Yaacoubian, Nehmat Ephrem, Michael Mouawwad and Marwan Hmade from the house of the representatives.
