Israeli drone strike in Southern Lebanon leaves one injury

Shafaq News/ An Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the
southern Lebanese town of Alma al-Shaab near the Israeli border injured one
person on Thursday, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
Israeli Army’s Spokesperson, Avichay Adraee confirmed the
attack in a post on X, saying that the targeted is “a Hezbollah terrorist.”

An earlier Israeli airstrike on the Bint Jbeil road injured
two civilians, the ministry said.
In the last two days, Israeli forces shot and injured a
Lebanese citizen, identified as M.A., in the southern town of Odaisseh. They
also fired at a Renault Rapid vehicle, though no additional casualties were
reported. Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles stationed in Al-Labouna, east of
Naqoura, advanced toward Ras Naqoura, accompanied by bulldozers. The forces
constructed an earth barrier, blocking the road near the Jal Al-Allam site,
which overlooks Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab.
These strikes come days after Israeli forces bombed the
capital, Beirut, killing four people, including a woman. It was the second such
strike on Beirut in the past week since a ceasefire with Hezbollah took effect
in November.
Additionally, Hezbollah condemned the escalating
"US-Israeli aggression," describing it as part of a broader
"US-Israeli axis" targeting the region. The group highlighted that
the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, combined with “ongoing US pressures and the
complicity of American envoys pushing Israeli demands”, form part of a broader
strategy to escalate hostilities against the country.
