In a joint press conference in Tehran with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, President Pezeshkian revealed that his meeting with the Iraqi PM focused on regional developments, and the bilateral talks were productive.

"The discussions also touched on economic and trade cooperation with Iraq, as well as the importance of expediting work on the Shalamcheh railway project," he continued.
