Houthis target a military site in Saudi Arabia ’Abha airport
Shafaq News / The Houthi "Ansar Allah" Movement announced, on Thursday, that it targeted an "important" military site at Abha International Airport, south of Saudi Arabia, with a drone, while the Arab coalition reported that a drone was heading to Saudi Arabia was shot down.
The military spokesman for the Houthi group, Brigadier General Yahya Saree tweeted that “a Samad-3 drone targeted an important military target accurately at Abha International Airport."
Saree added, "This targeting comes in response to the air strikes escalation of the coalition led by Saudi Arabia against our dear and great people."
For its part, the spokesman of the Yemen's pro-government coalition announced the interception of an explosive drone launched by Houthi forces towards Saudi Arabia.
The spokesman for the coalition forces, Colonel Turki al-Malki, said in a statement, that “Saudi-led coalition destroyed, this evening, an explosive UAV launched by the Houthi militia to target civilian objects and civilians in Khamis Mushait city."
