Hezbollah launches major rocket attack on Israeli cities

Shafaq News / On Sunday, Hezbollah launched an attack involving over 150 rockets targeting several Israeli cities, causing significant damage in Tel Aviv and Haifa.

Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) also announced the suspension of flights at Ben Gurion Airport east of Tel Aviv following rocket fire from Lebanon. Explosions were heard in central Israel after 10 rockets were reportedly launched toward the greater Tel Aviv area.

Intense clashes between Hezbollah and the Israeli army in several locations in the southern Lebanon were reported.

In addition, Hezbollah announced it had targeted, for the first time, the Ashdod naval base, located 150 km away, using drones. The group also hit Galilot base (headquarters of Military Intelligence Unit 8200, 110 kilometers from the Lebanese-Palestinian border, as well as the military gatherings in Hatsur Haglit, Ma'alot Tarshiha, Kfar Blum Kiryat Shmona, Metulla, Khiam with a rocket shells.

On the other side, the toll of yesterday’s Israeli airstrike on Beirut rose to 20 death and 66 injuries. Debris removal work is still ongoing.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported Friday evening that the death toll from the Israeli war on Lebanon has reached 3,670, with 15,413 wounded since the conflict began, among the dead were 220 healthcare workers and 234 children.
