Iraq denies airstrike in Diyala after explosions heard

The Iraqi Security Media Cell on Tuesday denied that any airstrike or attack had taken place in Diyala province, after residents reported hearing explosions in the cities of Baquba and al-Khalis.
"There is no truth to any targeting or aerial bombardment in Diyala province," Lt. Gen. Saad Maan, head of the cell, told Shafaq News.
