Gunmen attack Iraqi fuel tankers in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor

Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on Iraqi oil tankers in western Deir ez-Zor on Wednesday, a Syrian source told Shafaq News.
Syrian authorities arrested one attacker later.
Earlier today, the Syrian Petroleum Company announced the arrival of the first convoy of Iraqi fuel oil through the Al-Tanf crossing toward the Baniyas oil terminal, marking the start of a new transit phase.
