Three cruise missiles target Qatar

Doha, the capital of Qatar, came under an Iranian attack involving three cruise missiles, with two intercepted and a third striking a tanker chartered by QatarEnergy, the Qatari Ministry of Defense reported on Wednesday.

In a later statement, QatarEnergy noted that its fuel oil tanker, Aqua 1, was hit while operating in Qatar’s territorial waters. No injuries were reported. The company added that the incident caused no oil spill or environmental damage, and that operations and energy supplies remain unaffected.
No country or armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
