Khamenei: Israel will not escape punishment for aggression

Shafaq News/ Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei branded, on Wednesday, Israel’s recent airstrikes a “grave mistake.”
In a televised address, Khamenei accused Israel of instigating the war, warning, “The Zionist entity [Israel] will not escape punishment. Iran will neither forgive nor forget this aggression.”
He emphasized that the country’s armed forces were on full alert with broad support from both the government and the public.
Khamenei also responded to US President Donald Trump’s call for Iran to surrender, warning against any military action. “This nation will never surrender to imposition from anyone,” he confirmed. “America should know that any military intervention will undoubtedly result in irreparable damage.”
Khamenei’s remarks came as the Iran-Israel confrontation entered its sixth day, with both sides continuing to trade missiles, drones, and airstrikes across multiple fronts. Despite mounting international appeals for de-escalation, military operations have continued intensively.
