Israeli airstrikes hit multiple areas in southern Lebanon on Monday, resulting in casualties, according to Lebanese media.
A drone strike reportedly targeted a motorcycle in the town of Aita al-Shaab in Bint Jbeil District, while another strike hit a vehicle near the al-Sharqiya–al-Duwair junction, setting several cars ablaze.
The Lebanese Health Ministry confirmed one death in Aita al-Shaab. It also said one person was killed and seven others were wounded in the al-Duwair attack.

Israel has not commented on either strike.
Although a US-brokered ceasefire was signed by Lebanon and Israel on November 27, 2024, Israeli forces remain deployed at five positions south of the Litani River and continue airstrikes across southern and eastern Lebanon, including Beirut’s southern suburbs. Lebanese officials say the bombardments have killed around 350 people and injured more than 650.
