Israel launches new wave of strikes across Lebanon

Israeli aircraft carried out a new series of strikes across Lebanon on Saturday, hitting locations from the Beqaa Valley to the southern border.
Local reports said the raids struck Jurd Shmestar in the Beqaa area, while attacks in southern Lebanon reached Wadi Nahla between Shakra and Majdal Selem, the Al-Jabbour and Sujud heights, areas between Rashaya and Kfarhamam, and a location between Nabatiyeh Al-Fawka and Zawtar al Sharkiya.
Two people were confirmed dead, one in the Wadi Nahla drone strike and one in the Nabatiyeh Al-Fawka–Zawtar Al-Sharkiya strike. No casualties were immediately reported in the other areas.
Israel’s army spokesperson Avichay Adraee later said some of these attacks targeted Hezbollah military sites and missile launchers.

According to Lebanese authorities, Israel has committed 5,350 violations since the November 27, 2024, ceasefire, including 169 naval, 2,189 ground, and 2,983 air breaches. During this period, 331 people have been killed and 945 wounded.
