An Israeli drone strike targeted a motorcycle in southern Lebanon on Thursday, killing the rider, according to local media.
The National News Agency reported the strike occurred between Ain Baal and Bazouriyeh, amid heavy Israeli aerial activity over Tyre, nearby villages, and the Litani River.
Israel later claimed the target in the Ain Baal strike was Waseem Saeed Jbaai, a Hezbollah member affiliated with Iran’s Imam Hussein Brigade. According to the military, Jbaai played a key role in weapons procurement and rocket operations during last year's war, and was involved in efforts to rebuild the unit.
