On Friday, Israeli warplanes carried out strikes on alleged Hezbollah positions in the Tallet al-Shaqif area of southern Lebanon.

According to army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, the location had been used for military activity, which he said violated understandings between Israel and Lebanon. He added that operations would continue until all threats to Israel are removed.

Despite a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon that took effect on November 27, 2024, Lebanese authorities report more than 4,200 Israeli violations since then—leaving over 230 dead and 480 wounded.
