Shafaq News/ A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck Iran, shaking the cities of Qom, Tehran, Damavand, and Karaj, local media reported on Friday.
According to Tasnim News, the epicenter was located near the city of Semnan at a depth of 10 kilometers. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage. Local authorities are continuing to monitor the situation.
The earthquake, which struck shortly before nightfall, was widely felt in densely populated areas, prompting some residents to briefly evacuate their homes as a precaution.
