WHO supplies Kurdistan with medical equipment worth half a million dollars

Shafaq News / The Minister of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government, Saman Al-Barzanji announced on Thursday that the World Health Organization (WHO) has provided the region with new medical equipment that will be used to face the emerging Corona virus.

"WHO has provided us with a good set of medical equipment consisting of virus screening devices, respirators , medical masks, and protective glasses in addition to sterilizers," Al-Barzanji said at a press conference held today in Erbil.

He added that "WHO has already provided us with one thousand test equipment from Corona," noting that the value of new equipment obtained by the region from the organization amounted to half a million US dollars.
