What is the truth behind buying modern cars for ministers in Kurdistan Region? The government answers

Shafaq News / Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) denied on Thursday a local media report about buying modern cars for its ministers.

KRG spokesman Jutiar Adel said in a statement today that some of the local media, in order to stir up public opinion, reported unfounded news that the government had purchased 2020 model cars for its ministers.

He explained that this issue not true, adding that at this sensitive stage the government has put the preservation of the safety and health of citizens and the provision of food and salaries at the top of its priorities.

The government asked the public prosecutor to take legal measures against those who promoted this news.
