One family gang arrested in possession of fake money in Kurdistan region

Shafaq News / Karmyan District Police Department announced on Wednesday the arrest of five suspects in possession of fake money.

Police Media Director ,Ali Jamal Qadduri said in a statement that the Crime Department in Karmyan managed to arrest five suspects in Razkari area in Kalar district during their dealings with a fake money of Iraqi currency and dollar, noting that four of the accused are members of one family as they wanted to spread that amount in Rizkari market.

He added that by judicial order, according to Article 298 of the Penal Code, they have been arrested and investigations are continuing with them.
