Kurdistan Region imposes a fine on drivers violating the curfew
Shafaq News / The Ministry of Interior of Kurdistan Region decided on Tuesday to impose a fine on vehicle drivers who violate the curfew in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah provinces.
The ministry said in a statement today that it will impose a fine of 100,000 Iraqi dinars on drivers who violate the curfew for the first time.
The decision also included seizing the vehicle and the driver for five days and imposing a fine of 300,000 Iraqi dinars in the event of a second breach of the curfew.
The statement indicated that the decision is implemented from the date of its issuance.
