Kurdistan Parliament opens its new legislative chapter

Shafaq News/ Kurdistan Parliament opened its new autumn legislative chapter on Sunday, with a speech by the Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament, Rewaz Fayek.

An informed source told Shafaq News that “Kurdistan Parliament held a session to open its new autumn legislative chapter, and the work program of the meeting to stand a minute of silence in honor of the lives of the martyrs of Kurdistan and Iraq."

He added that "the program of the session also included the opening of the autumn legislative term for the first year of the fifth parliamentary session of Kurdistan Parliament by the Speaker of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of the third paragraph of Article 18 of the rules of procedure of Kurdistan Parliament."

The source pointed out that "the program included a speech by the Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament and the heads of parliamentary blocs to clarify the legislative priorities for the new legislative chapter."
