Kurdistan increase customs duties on imported vegetables and fruits

Shafaq News / Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) decided to impose an increase on customs duties on vegetables and imported fruits in support of the local product.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources addressed the General Directorate of Customs in an official letter requesting an increase in customs duties on vegetables and fruits imported from other countries.

The aim of the raise is to support the seasonal agricultural crops produced by farmers of Kurdistan Region, so that they can sell them at reasonable prices in local markets.
