Iran seeks to limit the treatment of patients in Kurdistan region and Iraq in its hospitals
Shafaq News/ Iran's health ministry said on Thursday that it is seeking to restrict treatment to its patients and those of neighboring countries in the region and not to travel abroad for treatment.
The ministry's representative, Amir Khani said in a speech today during a health conference in Sulaimaniyah that Iran's policy is summarized by two points, one of which is the development of scientific and health capabilities of neighboring countries.
"As for the second point, we as the Iranian Ministry of Health are making efforts so that patients in Kurdistan region, Iraq and other neighboring countries do not need to travel abroad for treatment," he said, stressing the need to limit treatment in the region.
