Shafaq News / The heavy snowfall in the border areas in Kurdistan Region has led to the closure of Sarzir crossing with Turkey.
The high rate of snowfall in Turkey and the region caused the closure of the mentioned crossing today.
The Directorate of Weather Forecast and Seismic Monitoring in Kurdistan Region had expected the region to be affected by an air depression coming from the Mediterranean Sea causing rain in the cities of the region, and snowfall in the border areas.
