Fouad Hussein: Deep talks to take place next week between Baghdad and Kurdistan
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi government will begin talks described as deep with Kurdistan Region on the export of oil.
Hussein said in an interview with "Independent Arabia" about the salaries of employees of Kurdistan that the policy of the Ministry of Finance is "full commitment to pay the salaries of all employees of the Iraqi state, whether they are in Kurdistan region of Iraq or any other province."
He added that "the issue of selling oil by Kurdistan Region, will be an item in deep talks during the coming week, to reach some kind of agreement, on the way to deal with this file and on the general oil policy of Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the Iraqi Republic."
The crisis of oil exports through the territories of the region between the two governments is heading towards a solution with the formation of a joint committee aiming to hand over the region with 250 thousand barrels per day to Baghdad.
It is scheduled for the next month to witness an end to those details in the presence of a real intention by the Kurdish leaders to resolve this problem, which was confirmed by the President of Kurdistan Region, Masrur Barzani.
