Erbil records new cases of corona

Shafaq News / The Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government announced on Tuesday morning that it has recorded five new cases of  Corona virus in Erbil.

The ministry said in a statement, that the infections were caused to a girl in   "Kani Kala village ", in addition to two women, a man and a child in the 94 district of Badaw district.

The ministry added that all five infections were from people who were in contact or were present during the condolence gathering in Karizan neighborhood in Erbil.

For his part, a Kurdish health official told Shafaq News that it was decided to put Karizan neighborhood under quarantine.

Most of the new diagnosed infections in Erbil belong to a condolence gathering that was established in Karizan neighborhood. As a result,   Kurdistan Minister of Interior announced on Monday, punishing the condolence organizers in Erbil who caused dozens of people to be infected with Corona virus.
