Erbil police arrests two people gave a false statement about a person infected with Corona

Shafaq News / Erbil governorate police announced on Monday arresting two people who promoted a false video scene about a case of corona virus infection.

The police said in a statement today that after the publication of a video recording on a page on the social networking site "Facebook" in which a person lying on the ground appears in one of the alleys and no one is close to him, and that he is affected by "corona" epidemic. So the Police Investigations Section followed the video recording closely.

"It was found that the person who appears in the video is infected with a disease unrelated to corona virus.

The statement also mentioned that the two people who promoted the video, by order of the judge and in accordance with Article (240) of the Iraqi Penal Code, were arrested by the police forces and were referred to the judiciary.
