Corona death recorded in Erbil

Shafaq News / Another death due to Corona virus has been registered in Erbil governorate today,  the Ministry of Health of Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced.

The died person who was infected with coronavirus (COVID19), is 51 from Erbil / Bani Slawa area , KRG health ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.

The statement added that the died person was suffering from a fatal illness and due to the exacerbation of the disease and his infection with Coronavirus, he was hospitalized on May 27, 2020, noting that after his 5-day stay in the intensive care department, he died in the hospital.

Thus, Erbil records the second death from the virus since the outbreak of corona in Kurdistan Region.

While the Directorate of Public Health of Dohuk Governorate reported on Tuesday that two infected people with the newly Corona virus have recovered.
