Shafaq News / Erbil Governorate police announced on Sunday the arrest of defendants who impersonated as a security authority, and set up a fake checkpoint in Erbil city.
The director of the province's police, Brigadier General Dalir al-Najjar, said in a statement today that Erbil police detachments on 40 meters street arrested four suspects who set up a fake checkpoint and assumed a security authority .
He explained that an investigation was opened with the defendants and referred them to the judiciary, indicating that the judiciary decided to imprison the four defendants in accordance with Article (260) of the Iraqi Penal Code.
