A deputy contracts Covid-19 as a first confirmed case in Kurdistan Parliament

Shafaq News / A source in Parliament of Kurdistan Region reported on Wednesday that the first confirmed case was recorded among members of Parliament.
“Laboratory tests confirmed that a deputy in Kurdistan Parliament is infected with Covid-19, as well as 3 employees in the parliament,” the source, who asked for anonymity told Shafaq News agency.
The source added that the results of 30 other tests have not yet appeared.
Kurdistan Regional Parliament had decided yesterday to conduct corona checks for its members and parliament employees before resuming its sessions.
