KDP holds a meeting to resolve its position on the electoral districts file

Shafaq News / The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) bloc in the Iraqi Parliament held a meeting on Saturday to resolve its position on the electoral districts file in the new election law.

A source told Shafaq News agency, "the meeting will determine the bloc's position on voting on electoral districts proposition within the election law during today's session".

The positions of the political blocs differ regarding the adoption of a single electoral district at the governorate level or multiple districts, with one district being approved for each district.
