Barzani on Al-Adha: an opportunity to deepen the spirit of coexistence

Shafaq News/ The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, called in a message on the occasion of Al-Adha Eid, Thursday, to consider Eid as an opportunity to deepen the spirit of tolerance, harmony and coexistence between the religious and national components of Kurdistan.

In his message, Barzani said that he offers, "the warmest congratulations to the families of the martyrs, the Peshmerga heroes and all Muslims in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, as well as the interior forces, doctors, healthcare professionals and institutions concerned with saving the lives of citizens amid COVID-19 pandemic, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha".

The president assured, "we will work together to solve and overcome crises and problems, ensure constitutional rights and protect Kurdistan Region's entity".

Barzani added, "I look with great respect and gratitude to the steadfastness and patience of the Kurds in the face of crises and difficulties resulting from the pandemic and its economic repercussions".

He also hoped, "we celebrate our upcoming holidays in happiness and tranquility, passing through the difficulties and opening a bright horizon for the Kurds. I also urge all the citizens to comply with health and preventive measures".
