UN calls everyone to contribute in the future of Iraq

It is scheduled that the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) would announce the final results of the legislative elections at three o'clock in the afternoon, which took place at the end of April.

According to a statement issued by the Office of the President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq , Ammar al -Hakim, reported for " Shafaq News " , that “ the latter received today at his office in Baghdad, the Special Representative of the UN in Iraq ,Nikolai Meladnov” .

According to the statement, al-Hakim stressed the need to speed up the formation of a government involving the main Iraqi political forces , and expressed his thanks to the efforts of the international organization in supporting the democratic process in Iraq .

The statement added that the Special Representative of UN called on all parties in Iraq to start planning to contribute in a positive way in shaping the future of Iraq and pursue policies designed to promote the democratic process , reiterating the support of the International Organization to the democratic process in Iraq .
