The Iraqi forces arrest a senior ISIS leader in Kirkuk

Shafaq News / The Iraqi forces arrested on Sunday morning a senior ISIS leader in an operation described as qualitative in Kirkuk province.

A statement of the media office of the Rapid Response Division stated that "the logistical support officer in ISIS terrorist organization was arrested in a qualitative operation in Daquq district in Kirkuk province by the intelligence of the third brigade in the division and in cooperation with the National Security Service."

A security source reported on Saturday, that three ISIS leaders were arrested in Kirkuk.

The source said in a special statement to Shafaq News, "A force from the 3rd Mechanized Brigade, the mechanized division, was able, based on confirmed intelligence, to arrest three leaders of ISIS terrorist gangs."
