The cleric's family who died Sulaymaniyah denies his death was due to Corona

Shafaq News / The family of the cleric, who died earlier today in Sulaymaniyah governorate, denied that the cause of death was that he was infected with Corona virus.

The family assured the head of the Union of Islamic Scholars in Kurdistan Region, Abdullah Wessi, that "the deceased was old and suffers from many chronic diseases “ denying that "the cause of death was his infection with   Corona virus."

The Ministry of Health and Environment issued in the capital Baghdad earlier a clarification statement regarding the death of one of those infected with Corona virus in Sulaymaniyah province, noting that the deceased has not yet been confirmed whether he is infected with the virus or not.

The General Directorate of Sulaimaniyah Health announced earlier also, the first death from Corona virus in Kurdistan Region for a 70-year-old man.
