PUK responds to the “four parties”: We have documents also

Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) , Change Movement , the Islamic Union and the Islamic Group have issued a clarification about what they called manipulation in Sulaimaniyah elections.

According to a statement seen by " Shafaq News ", "PUK is waiting for the official results from the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC)   and how the results would be , however we have many documents in the whole of Kurdistan and have informed IHEC and proved to them."

" We recorded complains about the way of fraud and manipulation in the elections results and that these four parties used to have observers four times more than PUK in the centers and polling stations , and we ask why the monitors of these four parties are so cautious in Sulaymaniyah city and silent in Erbil and Dohuk."

PUK statement added that “results of 331 stations have not been delivered to the parties as PUK has made a complaint about this problem and   the representative of Change movement and other parties have been informed to make complaints and we wonder why Change , Islamic Union and the Islamic Group keep silent in front of the actions of IHEC in Erbil while in Sulaymaniyah they give the subject more importance then its size . "

PUK statement concluded by saying " in the past elections  , PUK was confident that its votes doesn’t reflect its position , but we accepted the results and it seems that these parties will not accept the results that’s what they are making proactive attempts and we are confident that the PUK votes have increased in Sulaymaniyah , Erbil and Dohuk and Kurdish areas outside the region, and it expresses the position of PUK and that the wise policy of PUK made it reach this stage to encourage the citizens of the region to vote for it . "
