Iraq warns Corona could be out of control
Shafaq News / The Iraqi Parliamentary Health Committee warned on Tuesday from losing control over Corona virus and the spread of the disease in the country for not adhering to the preventive measures.
As of Monday evening, Iraq had recorded 4,632 cases of corona, including 163 deaths and 2811 recoveries.
The reasons for the frightening jump in infections are the lack of commitment to the curfew procedures and the continuous gatherings in public facilities, in addition to non-compliant of returnees with the curfew procedures and their contact with others without caring for the risks of disease, Committee member ,Siham Al-Mousawi told Shafaq News agency.
Al-Moussawi warned of dangers that she described as big with an increase in infections with Corona virus if the current measures continues and not committing to the preventive curfew as well as underestimating the consequences of the epidemic on public health then the situation would out of control, calling on health authorities to conduct comprehensive surveys throughout the country similar to the epidemiological campaigns in Sadr City .
She added, "The majority of infections are in popular areas because they complied with the curfew at all since its declaration , calling the government to tighten the curfew more to contain such danger “.
