Iraq suffers the highest daily rate of corona

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Health announced on Friday that it had recorded more deaths and infections with Corona virus during the past 24 hours.

"5246 tests were taken in all specialized laboratories in Iraq today, thus the total number of tested samples since the start of the disease outbreak in Iraq by 216731,” The ministry said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.

"The laboratories of the Ministry of Health and Environment recorded 416 infections today in Iraq, of which 177 were discovered through active investigation,” the statement added.

It indicated 73 recovery cases.

As for deaths, 6 cases were recorded in Baghdad and Basra.

The Ministry indicated that the total number of infections reached 5,873, recovery cases: 3044, people under treatment: 2644, people in intensive care: 45, while the total number of deaths: 185.
