Iraq records 6 new infections in Corona and one death

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Ministry of Health and Environment announced on Wednesday, that it has recorded 6 new infections with one Corona virus and one death.

The ministry statement received by Shafaq News stated that "Ministry of Health and Environment laboratories conducted 105 samples of suspected cases in hospitals in different governorates", explaining that "the positive results (new infections) were 6, 5 cases in Rusafa, one case in Diyala and one death in Basra. "

The statement indicated that "the total number of infections rose to 164 (with the addition of Kurdistan Region), 43 cases of recovery and 12 deaths."

The statement stressed "the commitment of the Ministry of Health to the international health regulations in dealing with infections, contacts and suspected cases," stressing that "it is necessary to abide by its directives and the decisions of the Office Commission Committee No. 55 of 2020 binding as it calls all concerned authorities to hold violators accountable and in accordance with the laws in force."

The Ministry called upon everyone to make an inevitable commitment to the Ministry's guidelines and directives regarding personal and social protection in order to prevent the transmission of this disease.
