Demonstrators in Basra prepare for Iraqi - Iranian football teams’ match with a "big screen"
Shafaq News/ Protesters in Basra province plan to put a large screen to watch the match between the Iraqi and Iranian football teams to be held on Thursday evening.
Shafaq News reporter said that the protests and sit-ins continue in Basra, southernmost of Iraq with a wide popular participation and rise in pavilions number to 25.
He added that the young protesters are preparing to set up a big screen to watch the game and encourage the Iraqi team.
Iraqi football coach, Kataneesh said on Wednesday that the team would play in a realistic way against Iran on Thursday in 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
