Shafaq News / The Iraqi capital, Baghdad and other Iraqi cities witnessed, on Tuesday, a rare phenomenon with snowfall following the country's exposure to a severe cold wave.

Iraq is exposing to a polar air mass of origin, which reaches its climax on Tuesday, as weather forecasts indicate that the mass will be centered directly on Iraqi lands.

This mass causes a sharp drop in temperatures in most Iraqi regions.
