"Abu Haroun" arrested southern Baghdad

Shafaq News/The security information cell announced on Sunday the arrest of a "terrorist" after an ambush southern Baghdad.

"According to accurate intelligence, a special operations force, one of the counter-terrorism forces, was able to arrest the terrorist Abu Haroun after he was ambushed southern the capital," the cell said in a statement.

The statement added that "after interrogation, a pile containing weapons, stores, explosive equipment and communication devices prepared to carry out terrorist operations was found in conjunction with the demonstrations in Baghdad."
